How to getting more motivated?
#1
I haven't updated my site in the last 19 days, how can I try to get more motivation to it? Doesn't exactly belong here but whatever maybe.

It's definitely taking a toll on the activity generally since no one is posting often anymore especially in the past weeks so I need to do stuff.

I have a lot of other thing to do too though which is annoying and don't get much time to updating it. (I will write an article soon though)

Thanks for any tips etc. can give!

If you are talking about design:
I generally get motivated by following the latest design trends (Reason for most of my latest stuff being in MaterializeCSS instead Bootstrap). It also helps if you have people that are willing to help you and give you ideas.

If you are talking about content:
Good luck with that part. I hate writing the content and words for my sites.

Lots of site owners are having this problem. Writing good content is essential for your websites but it takes a lot of time, and if writing is not really your thing you might rather spend your time doing other development for your site.

But I have something that works for me, I sometimes get motivated by reading some great content that I wrote in the past, and see how that has benefited the site.

Or in my case find someone who is willing to work for free or get paid via the customers they bring in. That is how I managed some of my social media and posting back when I had an active team.

People are able to post anything they like if they sign up, although I moderate it, but no one seems to be interested.

I'm planning very soon to make a new version of the site due to the current problems it's facing and have properly planned it instead of haphazardly fixing things occasionally. Also because we lost several users due to changing the forum software which I'm going to address with it, and I seriously cannot be bothered to change the software on the current site, it's too much hassle to do it.

I'll definitely be more motivated because I now have more things to write about and will start to sometimes make articles and postpone them, so that I have no need to sit there and make posts for a while. Working gradually, although I tend to be very slow doing this, seems to work very well sometimes and will do better for SEO.
