Forum Under DDoS Attack

At about 6PM EST yesterday, someone started a DDoS attack against the forum. As of 10AM today, we are still being attacked. I've enabled CloudFlare to migitate it, so the forum should stay online. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the CloudFlare delay pages.

did you get the ip of the attacker( or the ip range)
maybe it's some one who you banned in the past as a yh mod
or its simply YH or Hostngr not very happy that we had put together a parallel forum

I won't be surprised if the IP is from Canada or China, it's very possible this is htc2014.

it seems that ERIC is Administrator of the new forum hosters.cc
this is the guy who banned me ,in that case of course I won't join his party

Well, looks like ALL of the attack traffic is coming from China. I wonder if he realizes we still have his real IP in the logs from the YouHosting forum.

Shocked anyone is trying to DDos or Dos any community this small honestly, there is like no to little reason on doing so. Kinda sad too that he isn't using various IPs, I'd laugh if the person was using the same subnet of IPs (and if this was his home connection).

This is why I think it's htc2014 he's acting really butthurt over a 10-day ban which he probably deserved.

Just to say, there's a ton of guests browsing the site index and member list since a few minutes.

Basically htc2014 linked to his site HostClub before the poll had ended, Eric banned him for 10 days and removed the link.

He says he's not registering here because Eric owns the site or something, basically, being butthurt about a short-length ban, for no reason.

Personally, I think - while he could have simply received a warning, it was still an over-reaction to the consequences.

Actually we should think that this site has gained enough reputation that someone is even trying to DDoS it.

We did warn him, personally, and he agreed to stop. Then he started spamming people via PM with links to his site. That's why he was banned.
